I love style & substance.

Over the past few years, I have come to believe that your home deeply affects your life and happiness.  However, I also believe that it’s easy to have style if you have money (then again, it’s also easy for that style to actually be gaudy or tacky) but the real challenge is to make style applicable and within reach for people of average means with busy lives.

I’m turned off by homes without personality or comfort.  I’m also turned off by rooms that look like museums and furniture that cannot be used.

I’m turned on by the idea of quality in affordable, accessible pieces and rooms that invite.  I’m also turned on by details that reflect personality or make day to day lives easier.
